Breakfast at Ladurée…[Food]

I have a soft spot for Parisian themed eateries.

Ladurée first opened its doors in 1862 and is now world renowned for its macarons. Its first tea room in Ireland,  located on the corner of South William Street in Dublin, opened in December of last year, and I have been dying to visit ever since.

I finally got to visit Ladurée for breakfast last week and it definitely didn’t disappoint. My companion opted for the poached egg and smoked salmon on brioche, while I followed my inner child’s guidance and chose the French toast with raspberry coulis. It was simply delicious!

The service was amazing, with friendly and attentive staff that made us feel right at home.

You can’t end a trip to Ladurée without some tasty macarons!

The raspberry macarons are my absolute favorite!

This is a beautiful place for a girly catch-up or to treat someone special to. They have now started serving afternoon tea and I will definitely be back to try it out.

Where are your favorite breakfast eateries?
