3 ways to find new blogs to read [Blogging]

I read a lot of blogs.

By a lot, I mean about fifty to sixty fashion blogs. This does not include the professional blogs I read for work.

Having tools to help me to read, collate and find new blogs is essential to making the whole operation run a bit smoother so nice person that I am, I’ve put together a list to share with you!

Here are 3 ways to find new blogs to read!

One | Bloglovin

By far my favorite tool and I use it on a daily basis. Bloglovin lets you create a list of blogs to follow and presents them in a news-feed format. The discovery tool lets you look for topics you might be interested in and from my experience, the algorithm has been very good. Bloglovin also has a very good newsletter that suggests blogs you might be interested in and in my experience, this is very useful.

Two | Pocket

Pocket is a curation tool not specifically meant for blogs but it is useful none the less. Pocket let you save webpages, articles and links and presents them in a board format, not dissimilar to Pinterest. You can download a browser extension that allows you to save items with just one click. Pocket is available across multiple platforms and if you integrate it with your phone or tablet, you can both save and view your content across multiple devices.

Similarly to Bloglovin, the newsletter is very interesting. From my personal experience, Pocket’s newsletter is more useful for finding interesting articles on everything from science to travel to politics, and not specifically fashion. It is an amazing free tool that I always recommend to family and friends!

Three | Instagram

Instagram might be an obvious one, but I wanted to mention it regardless. Using popular hashtags such as #Style, #Blogger, #Fashion, #StreetStyle, #OOTD you can find a mass of bloggers to follow.

I would also recommend following the popular blogger tool LikeToKnow.It. This tool frequently features top bloggers that are using it and it’s a great way to find new people to follow.

I hope this helps you to find some blogs of interest!

What blogs do you love to read?

P.S. Why not follow me on Bloglovin to see what I am reading?
